A Kelantanese, Ikhwan graduated as a civil engineer and started working in a few engineering firm, doing his part in nation building.
A career in the then growing oil and gas industry does not stop his entrepreneur sipirit to go full time into Prudential as an agent in 2010 and that spirit gotten him to be promoted as an agency manager.

Understanding the need to grow further, he went on to become an associate with CTFG in 2019.
